As we wave goodbye to the fire and fizz of April’s Aries energy - a month that encouraged bold leaps, fresh starts, and headstrong momentum - we’re also gently closing the door on our Power Word: Fáilte, that exuberant open-hearted welcome to the astrological new year.
Now, we slow down our pace a little, for we are stepping into the lush, grounded energies of Taurus season (20:31 BST, Sunday 27th April 2025).
The in-between of Spring and early Summer, where nature begins to hum with life and beauty. The earth is rich, the air soft, and everything around us is blooming in delicious colour, scent, and texture.
🌑 NEW MOON IN TAURUS 🌑
As part of my own personal Creative Envisioning process, I also like to observe the new moon and full moon energies. Before I dive into my moon reflections at either end of the moon phase (new moon, or full moon), I love to pull a card from an oracle deck. It sets the tone, gives me a little nudge in the right direction, and often brings exactly the message I need to hear.
Today, under the darkness of the Taurean New Moon, I invite you to do the same - choose an oracle card deck, draw a card, sip your tea, and settle into this moment of reflection.

The energies of this Taurus New Moon are whispering gently, inviting you to soften, settle, and create beauty from the inside out.
Our new Power Word for May will be Meraki, a beautiful Greek word that means to do something with soul, creativity, and love. To pour a part of yourself into what you are doing.
This New Moon in Taurus arrives like a deep breathe out after the bold inhalation of Aries. It reminds us to root ourselves. To savour. To create with intention, with presence.
Taurus is the builder, the sensualist, the artist. Its steady energy invites us to create solid foundations, nourish our bodies and spirits, and make time for what brings true pleasure and meaning.
Where can you bring more Meraki into your life? What would it look like to do things not just with purpose, but with soul?
