#SummerWritingSanctuary: Day 2
Day 2 of Beth Kempton's Summer Writing Sanctuary; my musings on A Forest Tale
Today’s prompt is A Forest Tale.
A Forest Tale ...
As the eagle soars high into the sky, you get a birds eye view of
Far into the distance
Over the hill, criss-crossing the winding stream
Ramblers' footfall over the years
Etched into the earth
Serving as a pathway for others
To follow, follow and enter the forest far beyond
Tall as ship masts, bending to Mother Nature's whims
As the natives of the forest get busy with living their
Lives, as humans seek to learn their secrets, to have space to breathe,
Entering the natives' habitat to de-stress and enjoy the art of shinrin yoku.
I though it would be fun today to try out an acrostic, to help me get unstuck: an acrostic is best described as “a poem or other word composition in which the first letter (or syllable, or word) of each new line (or paragraph, or other recurring feature in the text) spells out a word, message or the alphabet.” (Wikipedia)
