We begin each month of Creative Envisioning with a guiding power word. This month’s power word is Meraki, and I share a few journalling prompts for you to play with … meander your way through in whichever way feels good to you.
(Our Creative Envisioning year begins in February, but you are most welcome to join us at any time of the year ~ it is a cyclical process, so you are never behind!)

MERAKI (Modern Greek) – to do something with soul, creativity, or love
This month our guiding power word is Meraki - a delicious, modern Greek term that describes doing something with passion, devotion, and undivided attention, where you leave a little piece of yourself in whatever you create.
May invites us into a gentler, grounded rhythm under the steadying influence of Taurus, an earth sign that speaks of pleasure, beauty, and deep-rooted commitment. This is the time to savour, to slow down, and to pour ourselves wholeheartedly into our creative expressions.
Whether you are planting seeds in your garden, making a nourishing meal, writing in your journal, or tending to a relationship - how might you infuse this with Meraki?
🌑 Taurus New Moon: 29 April 2025
This New Moon, which we are still very much feeling the energies of, arrived in the sign of Taurus: stable, sensual, and beautifully intentional. The energies are further enhanced by this being the first New Moon since the solar eclipse in Aries on 29th March; Eclipses can bring sudden shifts, revelations, and an invitation to reorient toward our deeper values; yes, the energy may feel unsteady at first, but it also holds potent potential for transformation, healing, and heart-led action. So with the Taurus New Moon let us embrace this as a golden invitation to find stability amidst change.

A Year of Unfolding: Taurus New Moon
As we wave goodbye to the fire and fizz of April’s Aries energy - a month that encouraged bold leaps, fresh starts, and headstrong momentum - we’re also gently closing the door on our Power Word: Fáilte, that exuberant open-hearted welcome to the astrological new year.
Exploring Meraki
This is your invitation to explore what it means to create with your whole self. Not to strive to be perfect, but to be present, to be human, to live and make/create from your heart.
I invite you to take a moment to reflect on:
• what does Meraki mean to me?
• where in my life do I already live and create with Meraki?
• where am I longing to infuse more soul, more love, more presence?
Allow yourself to explore beyond what you may traditionally think of as “creativity”. Meraki lives in quiet conversations, shared meals, lovingly folded laundry, tiny notes of kindness, and the sacred everyday acts of care.
